Hey guys, this is the first page to my comic "Alcatraz High." For those of you who are unfamiliar with me, my name is Bobby Rubio and during the day, I am a Story Artist at Pixar Feature Animation and after hours, I work on my comic projects. This is from issue #0 and it was colored by my friend, Michael Greenholt. I told Mike to design the colors like a color script to a movie. To think of the emotions of the scene, cool and drab colors represent the school to convey a sence of forboding and entrapment. Warm colors would signify freedom and joy. I think he did a brilliant job! His colors truly enhance the emotions of the visuals and don't take my word for it. Check it out for yourself
[link]I'll be posting a couple more pages and divulging a little creator's commentary on them. If you guys like it, please tell your friends. Thanks in advance!

And I've already showed this off to my brother. He's completley hooked and has demanded to see the rest...I told him to cough up the cash.
That, and, we've only read one comic before in our lives (it's a crime, I'm sure) we found it in the garage and turned the pages in total fascination. It was Iron Man in the middle of a story arch and we had no idea what was going on, but we loved it anyway.
